Archeology In Transit
"Archaeology in Transit" is a traveling exhibition exploring migration through objects, archaeology, and design. Researchers from Tecnológico de Monterrey mapped artifacts across Mexico, highlighting their function, emotional value, and impact on people. A key example is the plastic bottle, originally painted black by migrants for safety, later produced in black by manufacturers in 2009. The exhibition also reflects on modern borders, showing how barriers increase migration and conflict.
