Design can lead to fascinating paths that can generate commentary for current social, cultural, technological and economic phenomena. By designing artefacts that could help people explore different points of view and engage in particular discussions, we can learn to understand the complex human experience.

We believe that by practising Critical Design it can lead us to be better creatives and better thinkers.

In this seminar held by delaO design studio, you will learn how to use the studio's research methodologies, concept development techniques and lastly, design and prototype your idea. The seminar will be utilizing the Prediction Generator as its main framework. The Prediction Generator is an ideation tool created by delaO design studio to help designers, researchers, and future-thinkers generate, validate, and articulate any design brief research hypothesis, or future scenario.

• Session 2 Saturday, Feb 13 (9 am -12 pm SCT / 16:00-19:00 CET): Synthesis, Analysis and Hypothesis Development.

• Session 3 Saturday, Feb 20 (9am -12pm SCT / 16:00-19:00 CET): Design for Critique.

• Session 4 Saturday, Feb 27 (9 am -12 pm CST / 16:00-19:00 CET): Presentation of projects and Final Feedback.

Includes:

• One a synchronic review session (30 min) between session 2 to 3.

• A copy of an upcoming physical publication produced by delaO design studio, showcasing the best projects resulting from this workshop.
