The techniques applied in the manufacturing of this slippers are inspired on the “huarache” tradition in Buenavista del Cuellar. The sole texture is entirely hand punched and hand sticked by one of the most skilled craftsmen.

Because no dies are used during the tanning process, this wallet changes from a clear beige to a beautiful honey brown colour.

This product is the result from a collaboration between Studio José de la O and local leather artisans from Buena Vista del Cuellar as part of a program supported by the Ministry of Culture from the State of Guerrero, Mexico.

Place of manufacture: Buena Vista de Cuellar, Mexico.
